Croyde is shaped like a horseshoe — lively and social around the rim, calm at the centre. And right at that hub, quietly tucked just behind the village’s main rhythm, you’ll find Dingle Dell.

One of only five chalets in this secluded spot, Dingle Dell offers a peaceful retreat just moments from everything. Stroll to the beach. wander through the village Then retreat to your own private veranda, where the morning sun arrives early and breakfast always seems to last longer than it should.

This is the sort of place where you can park the car for the week and forget it exists. Most mornings begin with a pre-breakfast walk — to the dunes, along Baggy Point, or straight down to the sea for a swim. Then it’s back for coffee and toast on the veranda, where the light pours in and time slows down.

Croyde Bay

Dingle Dell is one of the original wooden holiday chalets in Croyde Bay. It is tucked away in a quiet location between the village centre and the beach, a spot it shares with just 4 other chalets.

We have worked hard to provide comfortable accommodation whilst working within the character and confines of a unique and traditional structure.

The peace and character of Dingle Dell has ensured that our vistors find themselves returning year after year.
